I was never one for special eye creams, but as the 30s drew nearer and my daily contact inserting started taking a toll, I faced the inevitable. The hunt for a clean and natural solution began!
The skin under our eyes is very thin. It's different than the rest of our face and requires a little more care. It's an area often touched when applying or removing makeup, contacts, or skincare products. Also, most of us spend our days looking at screens, causing us to blink less and dry out our eyes. Routinely protecting and supporting the skin around our worn out eyes simply helps to keep your body in a healthy state.
+ Clean, toxic-free, well-sourced ingredients—wild, indigenous and/or organic
+ Light or fully fragrance-free—helps to avoid overwhelming the sensitive tear ducts
+ Healing, nourishing oils—like vitamin E, shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil, etc.
When looking for a supportive eye balm, I wanted something on the lighter side that I could wear day or night under makeup or alone.
If you're new to Evan Healy products, take a peek at their authenticity and depth of care. They're far beyond certified organic, following standards that include sourcing from family farms, tribal villages, and self-governed women's cooperatives, Oregon Tilth certified ingredients, cold-pressing their oils, and producing all their skin care in small batches by hand.

I love the glow this balm gives my eyes. I apply all over! It's kept my delicate skin soft and light. I also have noticed my eyebrows are growing in thicker, softer, and more quickly. The nourishing ingredients are restoring my eyes at night and protecting during the day. It pairs beautifully with concealer, but often makes under eye makeup unnecessary due to the glow and lightness it brings.
Whether applying an eye cream or under eye concealer, it is important to press or swipe gently. If doing by hand, I prefer to use my ring finger to avoid pulling on the skin.
+ Wash and tone face. See my routine and suggestions at the bottom of this previous share.
+ Uncap and gently swipe stick under each eye (don't forget the corner where laughter lines form), over the eyelids, and over and under each brow ( it can double as an eyebrow tamer too!)
+ With your ringer finger, lightly massage it further into the inner eye, towards the bridge of your nose, and along the bottom eyelash.
+ Night: for further moisturizing, top with a light moisturizer in the under eye area.
+ Day: apply concealer over or leave alone and glow all day long!
I hope you get to try this easy eye care balm. It's a wonderful addition to your natural skin care regimen and I'm pretty sure your eyes will thank you ;). Have you tried Evan Healy products? I'd love to hear how they work for you!
À votre santé!
