Laundry. I’m weirdly a fan. Well, of the clean clothes part. The rotating and folding part, not so much. I love the idea of folding toasty warm clothes, linens, and sheets right out of the dryer, but let’s be honest this rarely happens. I often forget about each load and have to go the re-tumble route!
Laundry highlights one hilarious oddity in our house—a contrasting approach to folding. I’m what some may call a “care-free” folder. Josh, on the other hand, is very precise. In other words, I’m a just-loosely-fold-and-toss-in-a-drawer type and Josh is, well, an Eagle Scout.
Our story is one of two lovers from different worlds making the everyday chore of laundry into a musical symphony of loose and organized.
Our differences bring about challenges, but isn’t that what makes us stronger? Haha, but seriously I’ve definitely had to step up my game with this one! The process of finding our combined laundry approach has become a real-life reminder to me of the purpose and beauty of marriage—learning to accept each others’ quirks with grace and love and, of course, a little humor now and then...
