Weekly Energetic Weather: Dec 29th - Jan 4th

Overall Themes

We’ve been in an interesting no-man's land for a week or so. While much positive energy was available last week, so many of you were brought to face hard truths in your bodies. It was like the lightness in the energy allowed your bodies the space to pull forward long-ignored messages. The prevalence of ER visits, UTIs, multiple colds, low moods, and overall trauma processing makes it clear that 2025 has taken a heavy toll on our sensitive community. Just like every month our bleeds allow us women to see the quality of our lifestyle, our stress management, and overall self-care, so to the month of December reveals the grand total impact of our year.

I was reflecting with a client today how the month of November and December are actually the moments in our seasonal cycles when we are asked to slow down, to cocoon, to recover, to reflect, to savor life’s tiny moments and to rebuild for the new year, yet we spend these months running around stores, from event to event, and spend highly pressured days surrounded by the most activating and potentially pain-invoking people in our lives. This has been our cultural custom for many centuries, but perhaps we are finally reaching a point where we say - no more. The focus of the healing movement over the last decade has progressed from boundaries to self-care to trauma to nervous system regulation and now to masculine/feminine balance… but what about a complete reset? A full reclamation of ourselves and our identities as humans. Setting aside ALL traditions and labels and expectations, not to abolish them, but to consider which are truly life-giving and which are merely place-holders of old systems. Balance and health come from taking moments every now and then to gently assess what’s in our lives, to review the source of our decisions, to ask ourselves why we are moving in one direction, and most importantly, if there is potentially a more sacred route.

Now is that moment. You’ve just completed a pretty insane year. You’ve just spent time around the humans that can awaken your most vulnerable and tender places. You have a little space to process… So, what will stay? What is ready to go? Let yourself think big, feel free, and consider radical action.

This week is the week of the fighter. I don’t mean the ever-pushing warrior woman or man that never stops, but instead the human nature in you and I that holds deep resilience when the world crumbles around us. I think of the sturdy foundation of Capricorn energy, which we are swimming in right now, and the ever-determined and driven essence of Aries energy, which we are transitioning into for the next decade plus. This week gives a glimpse of our own resolve, our own “fighter” spirit. Is it alive? Is it buried? Is it time to relight this flame?

2026 is a year of rebuilding, of action and motion, of taking that impossible dream you’ve had since 2023, or perhaps even since 2011, and making it real. It’s possible now. The energy is here to support it! Dreams are not just about your own discipline and determination; it’s also about how the energy of the world supports you. It determines whether you feel like you are pushing or flowing. This year, especially if you have cardinal energy in your birth chart (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn), you will be finally allowed to flow (and maybe even a little pushed) instead of being the pusher. Wind will fill your sails, and you might just feel a new energy and clarified purpose.

This week is the time to acquire any tools you need to support this new adventure and any renewed intentions. My advice? Focus on what your body requires to be your ever-sturdy ally through this year. I have a little helpful reflection tool below to identify the support system and where to focus if you’re not feeling 100%.

Your Self-Reflection Guide:

  • How is your stress management/response? Adrenals/Nervous System/Brain.

  • How is your cognitive function? Brain/Gut Function.

  • Energy? Thyroid/Brain/Gut Function.

  • Immunity? Gut Microbiome/Detox Organs.

  • Mood Resilience? Brain/Hormones.

Whatever your body needs, dig deep and nourish this part of you. Step into support now. You know where to find me. Use the energizing, structure-obsessed, and driven energy of Capricorn to get it done! It really will allow what normally feels challenging to flow naturally. Rebuild your strength. We swim in this energy until January 19th, 2026.

You are a fighter. A tender, wise, and resilient one.

Own your potential and let it guide you forward. Drop any other voices that may tell you otherwise, and even if just for this season, live as your boldest, most perseverant, and confident self. I see your inner rock. Trust it. Lean on it. Let it lead you.

Moon Schedule

December 29th - Moon Enters Taurus

Ahhhh my favorite moon - Taurus. It’s a lovely moon to experience on a Monday. In LA, we stepped into this moon at 3:58 PM. Taurus invites comfort, cozy, nourishing, and that is what we want to invoke in our life for the next 48 hours. This is a lovely time to massage the neck and the jaw. To soften our eyes and to quiet our nervous systems. A simple way to do this is to take the palms of your hands and to gently cup them over your eyes. Close your eyes and slow your breath. Send your inhale all the way down to your pelvic floor and then release the air through your mouth. Do a few rounds of this or until you feel your body settle. Then follow up by cupping your hands under your jawline, heel of hands together, and if inspired softly stroke circles right where the jaw connects with your neck under your ears. Lastly, with delicate finger tips stroke down the neck from under the ears to the collar bone. You’re guiding energy, not massaging, so keep it light. Add in intentional massage as needed around the hairline and upper shoulders to release your jaw and open up your neck.

December 31st - Moon Enters Gemini

Today mars is working with the north node to create a deeper sense of direction. A download may come through the body or mind today. Watch your breath and your thoughts. If you find them racing, slow down any caffeine intake or highly activating foods like cacao or sugar. Add in more grounding foods like root vegetables, nuts and add protein and fat to every meal.

January 2nd - Moon Enters Cancer

Full moon in Cancer on January 3rd! Cancer is a lovely maternal and nourishing energy, but it can also feel heavy and demanding at times. Move through self-care lightly. Find the joy in your day and soften any weighty expectations. This is also a gorgeous moon to give your body a full oil massage, especially a breast massage. Support your lymphatics with this gentle practice. I love a lighter comedogenic oil like jojoba, but if your skin is hardier, olive oil or coconut oil can also be delightful. Move slowly and intentionally and stay warm. I do this directly after a shower, lingering in the steam. Keep the lights low and let yourself head to bed early not long afterwards. Sweet dreams :).
