Weekly Energetic Weather for 6.1-6.7.26

Overall Theme

The need for Adventure. The healthy role of Change. The maturity of Boundaries.

This energy jump-started a bit yesterday, and well, it’s a personal hit. It speaks to a HUGE part of my authentic design and wiring that I rejected and tried to ignore from ages 22-35, then (as to be expected) it volcano-ed into a complete life change at 36.

Yesterday, unbeknownst to me, I was swimming in the initiation of this energy, yapping on the phone to my sister about internal tension I was holding over various elements of my life, and being the wise woman she is, she called out the very answer that had been living, nameless, floating formless in the back of my mind all weekend - boundaries. Boundariessss, Jess. This is nothing new. I’ve been studying and embodying boundaries since my mid-twenties, but as a natural Sensitive with a default “on” button for empathetically merging and leading with feelings and heart - it’s a constant relearning process. Last week I talked about the spiral, and this is one of my lessons I sense I’ll be continually learning at a deeper and deeper level, whirling around my boundary’s spiral, each experience taking me closer and closer to my healthy, balanced essence.

I love using the word adventure to describe any out-of-the-ordinary experience that catapults you into a new, refreshing, or challenging moment. Most use it in reference to travel or something huge, but adventure has range. It can take place on a random Sunday with a spontaneous change of plans or with a long-awaited move to another country. It doesn’t matter how big or small it is.

The desire for adventure often originates from a need for progress – from an authentic longing for exploration or from a compulsive avoidance of the present. I’ve also personally found that these two extremes can co-exist - that’s a fun one to process. As a human who is wired for a lot of change and essentially thrives on it, I’ve actually had to grow into seeing this part of me as healthy. I grew up in an environment that was deeply chaotic and had too much change. As many of us do, I then labeled anything similar to what I experienced as bad and reacted by seeking the opposite in my adult life. I craved security and safety, and held this up at the ultimate, so much that I chose a life that very quickly squelched my vibrancy. The life 360 that then took place in my mid-30s shocked me at the time, but now I can clearly see it was simply a downstream effect of an overreaction to my childhood. A classic example of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. After 36, I ran through all the pent-up desires/needed adventures, rapidly exploring and experiencing the world in a way most do/did in their 20s. It was long-awaited freedom my soul had needed for 15+ years.

Now, I feel, I’m starting to land a bit on the other side, and am moving towards a place of personal balance. One that savors and allows for an open and adventurous life, without leaning into an unregulated chase of the next high that can come from newness. As with all things body, mind, and heart, balance is key, but I want to be clear. It’s not about generic balance, but a unique balance that is the center of your dial. My dial will always look different from someone who is authentically wired for a more steady and predictable life, so it’s important not to compare. In other words, balance for me will never look like balance for you, unless our foundations and natural wiring are similar.

Balance in an adventure-filled life is lived-out boundaries. Pausing before leaping and asking - why am I doing this? and being HONEST with yourself. It’s not about being perfectly “healthy” all the time. We are an over-therapized population at the moment and we forget that we can’t think or strategize or plan our way to growth. Sometimes, you will need to feel the pull to eap, ask why, know the why is because you’re fed up or bored or afraid of the present and still go... The BEST lessons are often found and remembered through these, lets call them feisty, experiences. BUT at some point, if the same lessons continue to pop up, and growth is not naturally occurring, it’s time to slow down and rethink the action. This is when you can set up a new self-standard or “rule”, if you will, about how you go about your adventures. THIS is what the week is about! Observing your own relationship with desire, compulsive action, and maturity around life experiences, the craving for adventure.

So how about you? Where in your life are you feeling the pull for change or challenge or growth? Are you honoring it, even if it feels small? Are you considering the why behind the desire, if it feels big? What can internal or external boundaries around your natural impulses look like? What patterns have you noticed in yourself over the last few years? Are there any new standards or rules you want to hold yourself to?

Lastly, this week might feel a bit emotional, and it could be very easy for you to make assumptions that are not actually true… so if you find yourself wanting, longing, desiring, and it’s not arriving as you wish - feel your feelings, but hold off on losing hope. Give it time, wait till the weekend. You’ll see more clearly then. What felt off, blocked or rejected could actually come through or clear up. Slow down. Breathe. Move with intention. And give lots of grace to yourself and to those around you right now. Not everything is as it seems.

Moon Schedule

The moon gives you a FREE BODY SCAN. The moon energy highlights areas of your body. If these areas are thriving, you’ll glow. If not, it’ll show! Tune in and get an easy update on the state of your body through the consistent moon activity.

MOON in Capricorn | 6.1

  • Structure. Capricorn speaks to the elements that hold you up. Rigidity is a classic issue for Caps. Softening muscles, tissue, fascia, interstitial tissue and even cellular opening and closing can all be affected by a closed spirit and mind. So I encourage you to expand and unlock the door to yourself. Bring attention to where you are holding yourself in contraction. How raised are your shoulders? - create space between your ears and collar bones. How sore is your neck and upper back? - Use your hands or a theracane to open up this tissue. How easily are you having BMs? - unwind your internal rod and soften/relax your anus and pelvic floor. You’re safe. You can send breath into every area of your body that’s gripping. I love to do this before falling asleep. Let go, start at the crown of the head and work your way down to your toes.

  • Nutrients: Kava Kava, Gaba, Magnesium Flakes - foot bath

  • Flower Essences: Cherry Plum, Oak, Rock Water

MOON enters Aquarius | 6.4

  • Eyes. Nourish your eyes under this moon. Feed them minerals through seafood. Soften their inflammation by sending love to your life - place a hand over your liver (under right breast tissue/pec). Ease blue light exposure by avoiding screens late at night or lighting a beeswax candle near you so it can take in the natural red light alongside. Lastly, 1x a day cup your eyes - place your palms just below and cup over the eyes, closing and resting them in this darkness. It’s the 1 min nap they need.

  • Nutrients: Vitamin A, Zinc, Glutathione

  • Flower Essences: Aspen, Gorse, Wild Oat

MOON enters Pisces | 6.6

  • Malnourishment. A porous intestinal wall that does not properly accept or receive nutrients - this is what we want to watch for under this moon. Eating in your ideal digestive environment (you can discover this through Human Design), choosing foods that match your blood type to improve absorption and reduce inflammation, and lastly strengthening your intestinal function, starting with strong stomach acid, are all the necessary basics to get the most amount of nutrients possible from your daily meals. We work hard to get food into us. It’s not as easy these days! Soooo make sure you’re actually receiving the nutrients by following the above. Let me know if you need help. This is what I do!

  • Nutrients: Hydrochloric Acid, Digestive Enzymes (therapeutic level), Zinc

  • Flower Essences: Centaury, Clematis, Pine
