I always start basic and direct, and then somehow end up all tangled in a bowl of spaghetti, each noodle representing a brilliant idea or overcompensation for my own insecurities or trying to be everything to everyone… It’s all my own doing. This week is one of those moments when we wake to our noodle wrap and realize it’s just a bit over the top. Simple is enough, in fact, it’s often better. As sensitives, let’s be honest…. we LOVE chaos. I know, I know, fight me on it, but the truth is it’s kinda where we thrive. In the complex, the hidden tunnels, the back corners, the barely noticed, the details, the fine print, the subtle shift, the whiff of falsehood - we notice, gather, and calculate it all till we’ve drowned ourselves silly in its supposed importance only to find that most of the population couldn’t give one F about any of it. It was all for us. We really did it for ourselves, because… we LOVE it. Hear me out, though. I’m not saying stop. This is a gift, meant to be used, but this week is about identifying where and when to use it. Instead of wasting it on moments, people or work that you’re trying to make mean more than they are, let’s channel it towards our greatest callings. Don’t know what that is?
