How open is your heart?

Up until Wednesday, a few tests may arrive. Old relationships, friendships, family, people who have hurt you, or perhaps have lost your trust or faith, may present themselves. Is it time to soften and reconnect? Can a balance be found between holding sacred boundaries and remaining tender and available for shifts and changes in others, and in you? We are in the lead-up to an emotional new moon in Pisces on the 18th. 2-3 days before or after you will feel this the most, depending on your unique wiring. Emotional weariness, feeling vulnerable, even fragile, are natural. Pair this with any old hurt and anger that may be rising with the closeout of mercury retrograde and the eclipse, and well… let’s just say it would be most helpful if we all just responded slowly for a while. Those tests arriving? Take your time. Think, truly think, before you respond. Lead with gentleness, and if that’s not what you’re feeling, then give yourself more room to breathe, more time to process, get it all out in a safe space first – then take the action, or say the thing. This could be the opportunity for reconciliation, forgiveness, and a reset. Allow yourself to be open to the possibility. We are messy, and yet we can grow and change. What if we let others who have been messy grow and change, too? Hold your value and stand in your healthy self-trust. You do want to note that change has actually occurred, but it’s a safer time to hope. The energetic weather is creating a moment for new beginnings, if all parties are ready. It might be time.

After the new moon, we are invited into even more softness, a relaxing into the body, an expansion of breath, and a releasing of tension. Part of this energy is very personal for me as it has prominent placement in both my human design and gene key charts. I can tell you from experience, this energy brings forward the inner battle for control, a need to brace, prepare for the worst to save the body, the spirit, and the heart. That is its shadow side. The progression from this tightness, this rigidity, this fear, is to step into surrender and allowance, fluidity and flow, which leads to the final landing place of healthy expression: embodied unconditional love for the self and for others. It is the genuine, pure, trusting, and heartfelt love of a child. What does all this mean for you? Check on your muscles, your gut, your breath, your mindset. Are you contracting or expanding? Are you making decisions out of fear and protection or from a place of grounded acceptance and perhaps even child-like love? How deeply can you press into self-trust and work out any kinks that may be holding you back from loving all the nooks and crannies of your messy, human, weird, and wonderful self? Love. Feet. Pisces rules the feet. Give your foundation some attention under this moon. You know I loooove foot baths, but a foot massage, letting your toes wiggle in grass, walking barefoot outside, and wearing socks inside are also lovely. Your feet are maps to your body. For centuries, acupressure and acupuncture have demonstrated the power of pressing, tapping, and stimulating specific points on the feet to connect and reset specific organs and systems in our body. Get to know your feet! If you already know your body’s unique points of vulnerability by organ, find these organs’ points on your feet and press them or massage them for a few minutes over the next few nights. See what you notice. Are they extra tender? Do they get more easily red than other points? Do they feel knotted? Work on them and observe any shifts :).

NEW MOON in Pisces at 6:23 PM PST | 3.18.26

This new moon is both the closeout of the series that began last October and the beginning of a new cycle. A lovely time for setting a fresh intention for your next 6 months. Aries rules the head. We’ve been living in a lot of Pisces and Aries energy of late, but the Aries has been bringing up all the skin, pressure, eye, ear, brain, and mouth imbalances. Relieve the pressured focus by draining the lymphatic pathways along the neck into the shoulders - get a massage, use a theracane, foam roller or a tennis ball in a sock to work out any stiff or knotty muscles and fascia at the base of the neck and along the shoulders. When this is tight, tension travels up the neck and creates a host of congestion symptoms. Aries also brings heat. Keep your head temperature balanced. Not too hot and not too cool to ease any extreme rebounding between temperatures. One of my favorite at-home therapies is to sit with my back against a wall, knees to chest, and gently cup my hands over my eyes, breathing very slowly in and out, dropping my nose towards my knees, allowing my body to release tension in the face, neck, and shoulders with each exhale.

Taurus = Thyroid. The thyroid drives your metabolism, in other words, your energy, your mental acuity, and your mood. Observe how you feel under the taurean moon. If you notice a loss of vitality, some foggy brain, or unnecessary irritability, it might be time to check in on your thyroid levels! For a quick boost, add seaweed and raw fish to your diet for a few days to see how you feel. Supplement-wise, Iodine is a huge help, as long as you are not low in selenium or have any autoimmune activity, you can safely add in at a low-dose for support. Start with food, though! This is such a lovely moon to nourish yourself under, so sleep early and long, eat thoroughly and often.

The slowdown has brought forward layers of the soul that often stay hidden. The uncomfortable glimpses of our past, our blind spots, our darkest sides, our greatest fears, are floating into view. Through wild dreams (yes, lots of this right now), triggered memories, deep sensations, surprise run-ins, and sudden feelings… you’re right in the middle of this very real internal battle we’re all navigating. Ruling the central nervous system - you will be given a wake-up call, a glimpse, into how you are functioning from a primal level over these next few days. Are you pushing? Staying in drive or emergency mode? Or are you stuck in apathy and heaviness, unable to lift yourself towards what needs doing? A dynamic shift occurs on the 10th as the planet of Jupiter goes direct (fiiiiiinally). Life will no longer be stagnant. It’s starting to open up towards Spring energy (March 20th), and while how you feel in your body is dependent on your unique birth map, don’t be surprised if you feel a bit disoriented as your nervous system attempts to reset to this new feeling. How’s your skin my friend? Cap rules our largest organ. AS a cap rising, I am very familiar with skin care. If it’s feeling a bit dehydrated and dry over these cap moon days, take note and spend some extra time massaging, tapping and rolling over it with hydrating oils and balms. Nourish your internal workings as well with soothing and moisturizing foods like organic hot white rice, wild sardines and salmon, teas of slippery elm, and sips of aloe vera juice (I know I mention this tonic in every email… so try it! ;) I also looooove red light on the skin to revamp your cellular energy and skin aliveness. Get that circulation flowing to bring nutrients and life back to the very edges of your terrain. This is the red light I personally use. Lastly, BREATH. Slow down your wake up and your bed time routines ~ include at least 3-7 rounds of circular breathing ~ counts 1-3 inhale and counts 4-7 exhale. Keep going to you feel solid in your body and your skin feels ALIVE.

Blood, the quality of your blood, will show most strongly on these days. If you have any form of anemia, you will feel it under this moon. Low energy, heaviness, recall and memory trouble, slowed response or reaction, apathy, stuck in bed… you may need to pull a blood chemistry panel. There are many forms of anemia, not just iron deficiency. Anemias block healing. You cannot solve any other chronic imbalance if the body is struggling to produce healthy blood. This is considered a top all-hands-on-deck issue to the body, so we must resolve this first to see movement in any other imbalance. Always always clear anemias. Slow and steady.

You are enough. The time is near. Keep going.

You are underwater right now. Sound is blurred. Vision is soft. Drive is distant. Sleep is calling.

You are not lazy. You are not lost. You are not undisciplined. You are not lacking.

Move gently and in alignment with your intuition. Let yourself feel your way into action right now.

Tonight and tomorrow morning, we are hitting a moment of powerful closure. One that carries with it the long-winded passage of the last decade. What you stepped into in 2016 is morphing or leaving. It is no longer enough for what you need in this new era. As this energy guides the old away, you are left with an internal ache for the next. It’s not as frustrating as the angst you felt last week. It’s softer. You may even be flirting with a feeling of disconnect or dissociation. Be cautious with this energy. You are meant to stay focused, to continue to move towards what the last month revealed for you. Channel turtle energy, not rabbit. Slow and steady, but still traveling. Lean into any action or motivation that leads you in the general direction of your goal. Harsh and forced conversations, actions or reactions will not bode well at this time. A continued gentle dance forward is the language that will win.

I know this transition, this change that’s been building for you, feels like an oasis in the desert that continues to hold its distance, despite your continual trekking in its direction. Take heart. Do not let self-doubt creep in. Stick to your deepest knowing. The truth that revealed itself over these last few weeks, if not months. It is right. You are right. Trust yourself and Hold. Your. A FULL MOON and ECLIPSE in Virgo is transpiring in the wee hours of 3:33 AM this fine Tuesday morning. I love full moons. They are powerful, especially for women as we can verify our internal health by whether or not we are linking up with the moon cycle. Ideally, we are ovulating or bleeding around this full moon, especially since it is in Virgo, the sign of whole body health. Virgo energy cares deeply about the intricate wiring of your nervous system, the clear communication between your cells, the vibrancy of your vision, and the glow of your skin. It is a full body check-in. So, how are you doing? Notice your state over the next few days - remember, symptoms are messages, messages from your body asking you to pay attention and directing you towards where you need to give support. This eclipse is the final bow of a series of eclipses that have been taking place since 2016. Life is closing out some large chapters. Beauty and balance. A healthy libra finds and brings balance to everything, so your body will be working extra hard to create equilibrium. If you dont have the nutrients needed to soften the intensity of life, then creating harmony will be difficult and your body will let you know through headaches, eye strain, temperature fluxes, mood shifts, and low energy. Weekly Energetic Weather: Feb 23rd - March 1st

Overall Themes

Hold. Your. Nerve. This has been my inner mantra/subconscious statement since the eclipse hit a week ago. We are in a jolting capsule of unpredictable change. What needs to come to an end, will. What needs to begin or start anew, will. A lot of it won’t make logical sense right now, though you may feel the intuitive accuracy in your body. Let it ride. You don’t actually need to DO anything. In fact, I would advise stepping off the gas as much as possible during this time and allowing yourself to cruise through. If a decision requires action, do it, but know that it could go on a journey before it actually lands.

Relationships, career, home, opportunities, trajectories, appetites, health states, government, and more are all available for change right now. This could feel chaotic or just straight up frustrating if you are trying to maintain control or even a semblance of it. There’s no good or bad, right or wrong in this time. It’s about closing your eyes, softening your breath, opening up your hands, and allowing whatever needs to go to go and whatever needs to come to come and holding none of it to merit until the end of March when this season closes. Then we can shake off the dust and look around at where we’ve landed. From here, we will be able to move forward with more confidence and steadiness.

Until this time - HOLD YOUR NERVE. What goes may come back, what comes, may not stay. Let it all play out. Give it time.

Pisces season is about surrender. flow. floating. vision casting. belief. faith. release. love. How can you weave more of this into your approach to life right now? I know. Very very counterintuitive to the growing energy and fiest inside of you thus far this year. Your spirit has come back online, and you want results, you want action, you want movement, but first, you must close out what is still hanging on, reset what is stagnant, and make space to fully embrace what is attempting to enter. This requires patience. Patience right now looks like: learning to allow, and even stoke, our internal fire, our passion and aliveness, while also honoring the purity and potency of our fully realized end desire. The temptations will be high to burst and take some rash action to force a result or just to relieve built-up tension. Don’t let yourself get here. The key is to channel this newfound energy and passion into a creative expression - dance, sing, talk, act, feel, cry, run, swim, row, ski, laugh - move, move, move. Get the energy flowing towards channels that use it well and bless you as a bonus!

I fully understand the battle with internal intensity and lack of healthy expression. I was never taught how to hold my fire in life. I was told to squelch it or at least to hide it, put it away. So I did. I let it die, and anytime it popped its head back up I would press it back down again. I would say that most women receive this same messaging, but there are definitely men who have been told the same. We are guided to be still, to be less. To be chill. To not be too much. And while most of you may be thinking about this in reference to your body or voice, I also think it applies to simple joy and zest for life. Excitement, hope, anticipation, passion, joy, love – these emotions and states are powerful and as a result taught to be dangerous by those who wish to keep us out of the ring. I say - Nope. Turn it back up. Full blast. Be completely ALIVE.

If this terrifies you, at the core, I can say from experience, it’s worth it. The journey of returning to your aliveness, to allowing passion and intensity and joy and love to drive you, will be a bumpy ride at first, but it’s the healthiest and most energetically aligned act you can take for yourself this year. You’re ultimately coming back online. Returning to who God made you to be. It’ll be challenging. It’ll be messy, but all rebirths are. We learn through experience, and experience-gain requires embracing imperfection and loss of control. I can promise you this: if you keep moving forward, you will find your ground again. I can also promise that it’ll take longer than you want, but it’ll be genuinely worth the saga. Hang in there, cause once you find your footing, you’ll learn the ultimate skill required to have a life of impact and influence.

I can safely say it’s one of my biggest life lessons. With potent fire and earth in my makeup, I am here to master the art of stable intensity – the holding of an intense internal burn while moving with steadiness, intentionality, thoughtfulness, and grace. I come from a long line of strong women who had their own struggles with wrangling this balance, so now it’s my turn to attempt, and I’m determined to take it as far as I can go in my lifetime.

February 23rd ~ Moon Enters Gemini

Talk, talk, talk. Let it out. Gemini rules the speech centers of the brain, your lungs, breath, shoulders, arms, wrists, and hands. I have a lot of Gemini in my mapping so I’m laughing bc I’m picturing me talking and wildly demonstrating everything with my arms and hands. This is the energy under this moon. Talk it out. Breathe it out. Move it out. This is not the time to stay quiet or hold your tongue or cocoon. Get social. Your body needs you to express to stay healthy right now! If you feel a sore throat come on while doing this, it’s a sign your body has lots to clear and needs some love. Gargle sea-salted water 2 x daily, drink my immune tonic (email me), keep your throat and back of neck warm, and get extra hours of sleep!

February 25th - Moon Enters Cancer & Mercury Retrograde in Pisces

Cancer is the ultimate nurturing energy, so spend these days giving your body extra nutrients - really focus on eating hardy vitamin and mineral-rich foods. This is a lovely time to get a gentle massage or lymphatic treatment or to start adding in smaller and gentler at-home practices. I love the chi swing, heel tapping (literally just lift your heels and let them land over and over again) 100x each morning, theracane neck work, and lymph zone patting (10 hardy pats on R and L side of traps, wrists, inner elbow, armpit, just below hips, behind knees and in foot arch).

Mercury retrograde is not something to be feared, just noted. Where is Pisces in your birth chart? Use the whole house system to see which house is ruled by the energy of Pisces and then chat gpt the themes of this house to see what areas of your life may have some hiccups until March 30th. Pisces rules the water in the body - especially intercellular, so the lymphatic recommendations above are helpful everyday supports, as well as consuming higher doses of potassium and magnesium.

Extra Note: around February 27th you may feel an enhanced restlessness and will need to really be active and channel your passion or else this may be the day you explode… you may also notice this same energy in the humans around you, so take care of yourself, be safe.

February 28th - Moon Enters Leo

The HEART. Circulation, blood flow, brain clarity, energy are all impacted by the strength of the heart. If you have a healthy rhythm and flow, you’ll feel good under this moon. If not, symptoms - messages from the body - will arise! Notice if your skin or face is more red or you’re short of breath, or your feet and hands are cold… all requests for help! One of the easiest and best ways to support your heart is through getting your B vitamins in – all of them. Your B levels need to be replenished daily since they are water-soluble. Supplement AND eat foods rich in them: bee bread or royal jelly, grass-fed/finished beef/bison/elk, seafood, and dark green lettuces are a good start.
