Weekly Energetic Weather: 4.27-5.3.26

Overall Theme

Following quite a flurry of action and transactions this past month, we have suddenly slowed. You are being given space to recover, to catch up and to reflect on the results of your efforts and choices before you move headlong into that which this week’s full moon is bringing to your doorstep. What did you initiate? How do you feel about its impact on your life? Is it to be continued, and if so - in the same manner or does it need adjustments to make it sustainable?

Many of us Sensitives have been hit with a physical slowdown this past weekend, which is forcing us to stop this week. DON’T RESIST IT. I’m speaking to myself as well. The body is processing all that we’ve shifted this month, too. It is our ever-so-precious container and must be honored. Getting sick or seeing old symptoms return is not a coincidence. Yes, there is a spring variant going around, BUT your body is choosing to learn it and form its healthy immune response now for a reason. I share more about what I recommend for recovery here, if this is your story right now.

In addition to the pause, Thursday’s Scorpio full moon holds the energy of transformation, truth, and elimination. These themes will be woven throughout your week leading up to and after its shine. I find this fascinating in light of the slowdown this week. My sense is that we are being offered the space to dive deep - mentally and emotionally - as the body stops. Truths will rise in the quiet. Truths that can transform us, if we allow them. God’s seasonal cycle is giving you the extra universal energy to flush out the lies you’ve been believing and holding on to that can no longer control you. You know it. God knows it. It’s time to truly shake off that old heavy protective cloak and stand lighter and taller in the honesty of what you really need and are here to do. As always, you look to the house Scorpio rules for you, to understand the personal themes this will impact, or simply witness the themes of your thoughts and the general flow of your emotions, and the timing of life and all who walk in and walk out during this energy. You’ll see the patterns. Let them speak to you. Gentle observation is often where wisdom is found.

On a worldly scale, leading up to and on this weekend, there may be a lot of discussion around security, safety, and stability, a panic that drives focus on finances, goods, and resources. Use a long-term perspective here and do your best to trust your inner resilience over storing and hoarding external needs. Panic and extreme action are rarely the best answer. Instead, hold your nerve and don’t be afraid to say yes during the extremes. No matter how bad it looks, life will go on, and life will require you to move with it. Be gentle with yourself through it all, but bank on your inner courage too!

Ovaries. Libra rules balance in the ovaries. Healthy release of progesterones and estrogens. Libra also rules beauty in many ways and beauty can be deeply fueled by hormonal release in the female body. Seeking more beauty in the body? Focus on balance within your ovarian production. Under this moon, you may notice any challenges your ovaries are facing to rise ot the surface through sharp twinges, pain, acne, mood fluctuations or shifts in your cycle. If you are not experiencing pain-free periods of easy red flow, a consistent cycle that’s 28-36 days, healthy fluid release and temperature rise with ovulation (ideally near this week’s full moon), then a hormone check-in is recommended.

MOON enters Scorpio | 4.30 + Full Moon on 5.1

Scorpio also rules the ovaries, but unlike Libra, it is about extremes. This week will bring your hormones to the forefront if they are not balanced. You may experience a strong message from your body under this moon if you’re needing some desperate care. The colon and rectum are also highlighted and so if you notice a big intestinal flush or major constipation/bloating/back-up, then bringing in supports to help move whatever is stagnant inside you out is recommended! Try eating a sliver of citrus peel, chewing fennel seeds, abdominal massage, aloe vera juice at 8 oz+ or magnesium citrate. This energy is about deepening your commitment to truth and clearing out whatever has been holding on that is not benefiting you - the body will reflect this! Overall Theme

Welcome to the sensual season! A moment to nourish yourself and come back to your body. To remember what it feels like to slow your breath and notice the details in that spring blossom. To watch the bees buzz around the fragrant jasmine and to feel the sun warm your face. It’s both a time of self-awareness and other-awareness. As you deepen into your body, you’ll notice time can almost stand still, and suddenly you see so much more in the teller’s face as you pay for groceries and hear even more in your friend’s voice as they share a story.

This is a lesson I keep learning over and over again. When I put my body first, when I prioritize what it’s asking of me before leaping to help or meet others, I’m able to give and be so much more for the humans in and around my life. Perhaps you agree with me in theory. Most do, but the reality of living this out day to day actually requires some intense self-trust and discipline. I find it’s waaaay easier to drop my needs and lean into others. It’s a culturally approved (and even praised) way of self-sabotaging and avoiding my real responsibilities. Dealing with my own needs doesn’t give me the high of a dopamine hit that making someone else feel rescued or seen does. In fact, it’s hard, uncomfortable, frustrating, and truly annoying most of the time. Why cant we just be superhumans and never have to deal with our bodies or health or sleep or eating ever again!? Well, this moment, this season, is all about cherishing what makes us human - these (very basic) needs. You know what you’re like if you don’t eat, sleep or take breaks… I definitely do, I’m a mess! Most of us are, even if it takes weeks, months or years to break us down. We will eventually collapse. And so will the systems we’ve worked so hard to keep standing. So in the name of divine stewardship of your body and for the love of all those in your life - you NEED to lean into your body this week. You NEED to embrace slowing down and taking care of yourself.

Now, I have had two of the busiest weeks I’ve seen in months, last week and this week, and so I’m in this right now, and the way I’m playing with balance is not necessarily saying no or pulling out or even numbing out. It’s simply slowing my mind and body down in the moments where I feel a pressure to rush, when my inner monologue is pushing me - “I have to get all this done or I have to respond to the list of people or I have to complete this project in 2 hours”. My past approaches were to just give in to the chaos and power through with all intention to collapse on the other side. This week…even as I send this email out close to midnight ;) I will be breathing deeper, closing my eyes, smelling the air, and observing more. Life doesn’t always allow for full retreats (as much as I am a fan of these), so we have to take minis. 1 min of your hand on your chest, slowing your breath before making a rushed decision, can change your entire day and as a result the way each person you encounter feels. Your state impacts everyone you touch. This week invites you to own your worth from a new angle. The more you value and sit in your body, the greater your healing influence on the world.

Lungs, diaphragm, breath… how deep is your inhale right now? Over these next few days, see if you can’t start your inhalation from your pelvic floor. Simply draw your mind’s intention to your pelvic floor, and it’ll happen naturally. Expand your entire body, not just your chest. See how this feels. If your lungs are carrying any kind of bacteria, fungi or virus, now would be the time it shows up. Take extra care to stay warm, cover the back of your neck, and get fresh air. Nebulizing is the go-to to clear up any lung infection. I also love tapping my upper chest to wake up my lung capacity, clear any congestion, and to soften an contraction/stiffness of the intercostal tissue. You can do it anywhere!

Leos rule the heart and the gallbladder. The place of love and anger management. So under this new moon, you’ll be shown which is ruling your subconscious, as this part of you expresses itself through your body’s functions. Perhaps you’ll even feel the heat of both, but if you're aching or lonely, check your heart and vice versa. If you’re frustrated and holding onto pain and bitterness from the past…. watch for gallbladder symptoms: light and floating BMs, histamine rollercoasters, panic/anxiety, depression, low immunity, hemorrhoids, itchiness, migraines, and acne.

We end the week with the energy that reviews the whole body. Make it your goal to arrive here having spent Tuesday-Saturday intimately connected to your body’s rhythms and messages (symptom expression). Overall Theme

To say this is a busy week is an understatement. The mood is active, strong, capable, and determined. Communication is getting direct and passionate, potentially fiery and impatient as well. You may have some potent and fascinating dreams on Thursday. Write them down. Then, in the wee hours of Friday, a New Moon in Aries arrives, jumpstarting new beginnings. I’ve already been feeling this and seeing it unfolding very strongly,y and it’s only Monday! Wherever Aries energy rules your life, you will FEEL this and SEE shifts. Check your chart. Aries is my sun and the home of my mind/thoughts, as well as how I communicate. It guides all the themes of my 3rd house. Where is yours? Get curious. This ancient system can provide great strategic insight for relationships, growth, and, believe it or not, lots of humility! It shows your strengths as well as your vulnerabilities and self-sabotage tendencies. It’s quite insightful if you enjoy studying human behavior and, like me, desire catalysts for growth. If anything overwhelming comes your way, step back and see it softly and innocently. Allow divine wisdom to cover you and let yourself be a child for a moment – purity in hope and trust. MOON in Pisces | 4.13

FLUIDS. Your body’s water, not just in the cells but intercellularly, receives focus and may ask for help under this moon. Stay hydrated by drinking continuously throughout the day and getting your activating minerals in to make sure your cells can open their doors to the water. Magnesium, potassium and more are required otherwise, the door stays locked. Add trace minerals to your daily water or a pinch of sea salt orrrr eat mineral-rich food! Seafood is one of the easiest routes. Get yourself some fresh sushi at the start of this week! Also, move. your. lymph. Walk, swing, sauna, stretch, jump to get your fluids circulating from the top of your head to the tips of your toes - this is how we make sure everything in our body touches our immune system and moves through our detox organs. In other words, this is how we stay light, fresh, clean, strong, and healthy!

MOON enters Aries | 4.15

HEAD. Anyone who carries symptoms from the neck up should always be aware of Aries moons, especially since we have so much energy in general in Aries right now. Pay attention to your head health. Eyes, mouth, brain, mind/thoughts, skin, neck, sinuses - they are going to be speaking up if they need attention. Don;t ignore it. Meet it. If you need help, come see me. Magnesium - the chant I will never quit. Swallow it. Apply it. Soak in it.

MOON enters Taurus | 4.17

Be in your BODY. This is the time to love on yourself - literally. Get a massage or self-massage. Get hands on you. Cook for yourself or ask someone that loves you to do it. Eat food that makes you melt. Sleep long and deeply. Let yourself have space to recover and lounge. Your body needs to know it can have days off too. Best nutrient for taurus? Iodine. I like to apply it typically because it’s the most nourishing approach, and I can support vulnerable tissues like the breasts. Apply it anywhere you’d like. It is a dark orange/yellow, but it’ll fade as it absorbs. By the way, the more iodine you need the faster it disappears. It’s actually one of my top cancer-prevention tools. I’m currently enjoying a season where I’m applying it 1-2x a day. I’ll definitely be doing this under the Taurus moon and throughout the Taurus season, starting Sunday.

MOON enters Gemini | 4.19

Wrists and tendons are influenced by Gemini, so if you notice inflammation or tightness or cracking at this time, give your body support! Inflammation? Check for toxin buildup. Tightness? Weekly Energetic Weather: 4.6-4.12.26

Overall Theme

From a dammed-up flow to a flash flood, you’re going to break out! This week is bringing us back to a place of structured action. We’ve been moving a bit over the last few weeks, but it’s felt somewhat chaotic, back and forth, and unpredictable. A deeper level of internal resistance remained, like the door was finally unlocked but very heavy, and its hinges were rusty, and it dragged on the floor every time you tried to pull it open… Well, on Thursday, that door gets lighter, the hinges are oiled smooth, and the pull will feel surprisingly light. You may even feel a little bit of that momentum starting today. I know I have!

Initiation over waiting. Steps over stillness. It’s time to go! Something in your life has been building, creating stress and frustration. Perhaps a plan went sideways or what you anticipated never appeared, or (due to the straight-up insanity of the state of the world) you have felt powerless, hopeless, and lost. Well, it’s time to gently set aside the disappointment, confusion, or pity party. You’re ready to do something about it. Victimhood is not the mood this week. Your heroic, hopeful, and purposeful steps will be rewarded with the energy, ease, and support that’s been missing. You’ll have a breeze behind you to fill your sails.

That being said, the seas may become quite stormy (if they aren’t already!), but the invitation is to face them with inner strength - to see the challenges as opportunities for growth, and preparedness for a higher calling or an unexpected, powerful responsibility coming your way. Reframe. reframe, reframe. And keep going.

Last week and this week are hitting core parts of my design and personality, so I’ve been in this deeply. The lesson that keeps coming back to me is this – stay OPEN. Despite what comes or doesn’t come, regardless of how you’re treated or seen, in spite of the odds and the possibly frightening landscape, stay tender, stay soft, stay vulnerable, stay expanded. Keep going. It’s so so easy for me to lean away when people and their motivations or work and its fluctuations or finances and its power do not behave in ways that feel safe and stable. It can rock me to my core and activate my old survival patterns of shutting down, contracting, and choosing to hole up in my own little heavenly hermit land. My own world feels so good and nourishing (I’m verrrry good at making a healing space), and I can be tempted to stay there and never leave, but deep down I know I’m made for so much more. And that “so much more” pushes me and pulls me until I get back up again, thank goodness.

The feel of this week is this very energy. It’s this longing for it all to just come easily and safely, and yet it, well, just doesn’t – creating a frustration so big that it propels you forward. “No more” becomes - “it’s time!” The energy, the drive, the movement is now sparked and fueled by the very irritation that only last week sent you into passivity, avoidance, and distraction! In other words…victimhood. So in a twist of fate… thank you? to the cause of this agitation! Allowing yourself to laugh and be lighthearted about hard, uncontrollable or maddening situations is in so many ways GOOD MEDICINE. So take a gentle look at what’s available to you today, in this moment, even if it doesn’t feel like enough, or you don’t feel like enough. Once you get rolling, it may be far easier than you anticipated. I believe in you.

If you are unable to get out of a hole emotionally, mentally or physically, despite the shift in energy this week, then you have confirmation that something is truly off with you, and THIS is a sign to get supported. Outside care is your first step, not pushing through or closing off. Reach out. Ask for help. Own your needs. This is one of the most powerful actions you can take this week. All it costs is your pride. You can do it. Send the message. Love you.

MOON in Sagittarius | 4.6

Hips and thighs and the blood flow around them is highlighted under this moon. This can affect menstruation intensity or loss. It can bring aches and pains if we have inflammation in the bones, muscles, fascia and joints. It can. cause breakouts of infections or as simple as ingrown hairs in these areas, because it’s very tied to blood flow and heat or lack thereof. If you have any past injuries, like sciatica - it could be cranky over this moon. Don’t panic. Use gentle supports, like Arnica gel rubbed in over the sore and inflamed regions or gently massage with a light oil like jojoba oil to break up any congestion under the skin. Move your body with care, not pushing or forcing, unless you feel strong here, then you may find yourself suddenly craving a run, sprinting up a flight of stairs, and challenging yourself with weight lifting.

MOON enters Capricorn | 4.8

Mars is entering Aries on the 9th, so this moon in Cap is going to feel verrrrry entrepreneurial. Like structured, focused drive! Your body? Think head and skin/joints/gut connect. Any imbalances in these regions will show up as a glow (let’s shoot for this!) or trouble (inflammation, breakouts, mental fogginess, overwhelm, intestinal cramping, constipation, bloating). I’d be ramping up magnesium dosing (adding 1-2 capsules at night or weaving in a foot bath) and adding chlorella (tablets - broken cellular wall) or chlorophyll (concentrated liquid) to my days to keep me balanced and cool during a potentially rigid and heated moment for my body. Really focus on getting to sleep by 10 PM, low blue light for the 30-60 minutes beforehand as well for deep sleep, cause you’re going to need it!

MOON enters Aquarius | 4.10

Aqua rules the electrical systems of the body, which are run by minerals. So, let’s do a mineral level check! Feeling depressed and hair falling out - consider iron. Stiff and tense - consider magnesium. Wired but tired - consider copper. Waterlogged and faint - consider potassium. Struggling to take adrenal or thyroid-focused supplements, but have a slow metabolism and other symptoms of hypothyroid - consider selenium. Get hungover easily or sensitive to sulfites in wine - consider molybdenum. Use this moon to witness what your body needs from a mineral perspective.
